Supporting Hospice Services at HIA Health
Hospice services touch all of us at one point or another, whether directly for a loved one, through a friend's experience, or as part of a broader community understanding of end-of-life care. This specialized form of care is designed to provide comfort, dignity, and quality of life for individuals with a life-limiting illness, focusing on managing symptoms and providing emotional and spiritual support rather than pursuing curative treatment.

The Misfits at El Zagal have graciously agreed to host our little event, when we originally came in to ask about their delicious dinner smoking service. This special event supports a wonderful cause: hospice services provided by HIA Health.
Since hospice services inevitably touch nearly everyone's lives, whether through a family member or close friend, their commitment to providing help to all in need, regardless of age, is invaluable, and there are so many people that are unaware. |

How we started |
The original event, first held in 2016, was named JJ's Hog Roast for Hospice. It began as a tribute to JJ Bruns, who had passed away earlier that year. Learn More
